Class Information Details

Curriculum Description

There are a total of eight levels of general conversation: four elementary levels, three intermediate levels, and an advanced level.
We emphasize the importance of using the language knowledge you have learned and improving your conversational skills.
We expect each student's learning history to be different, but In order to make up these differences, pre-assignments eable students to study the vocabulary, sentence structure, and topics necessary for speaking in live classes.

Pre-assignments will include models of target conversations and speeches and grammatical explanations for elementary level students, and articles and news items for intermediate level students and above, so that they can exchange opinions about them in the live class.
Since you can check the topic and prepare your own opinions in advance, you can focus on speaking in the class with your teacher.

Lesson Tools and Devices

Google Classroom will be used for class communication and for exchanging assignments. We also use Zoom for live lessons.

You can join a class with a smartphone, however we strongly recommend you to use a computer or tablet which enables you to see the course materials, etc. better. It is also recommended to have a headset so that you can hear the teacher's and other students' voices clearly.

When I was in Japan, I studied Japanese once a week for about a year, but I didn't have enough time to talk and I didn't have confidence in my conversation skills. That is why I took this online course. At first I couldn't speak much, but with the help of the teacher, I gradually became able to talk about the class topics. I didn't know some of the words, but it was mostly review, so I was able to focus on practicing my conversation skills.
I was busy because I was working every day, but for me this course was not that hard. Everyone was a good student, and when I didn't have enough preparation, the teacher helped me during class so I could enjoy participating until the end of the course.

I had already decided to enroll in the Naganuma School, so I thought it would be helpful to take an online course before enrolling. At first I was in Japan, but during the course I traveled abroad and returned home, so I had to take classes in various locations.
The teacher who taught the class was wonderful and we talked about a variety of topics and the time passed quickly. It was fun.

I was in Japan, but my work was remote and I did not use Japanese, so I wanted to practice speaking Japanese. While I was in Japan, I studied Japanese on my own using textbooks, but I wanted more conversation practice and I wanted my teacher to correct my Japanese, so I decided to take an online course.
I knew in advance what topics we would talk about in class, so I was able to prepare and speak well in class. Before the course, I only used a certain language, such as restaurant conversation, but after the course, I have more topics to talk about, and I feel that my conversational ability has improved. I also have good memories of meeting classmates from the online course when they visited Japan on vacation.
