ABOUT About the Naganuma School
The Naganuma School is a Japanese language school founded in 1948 and located in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. The founder, Naoe Naganuma, applied the Oral Method, a teaching method proposed by British linguist Harold Palmer, to Japanese language education and developed the Naganuma Method, which emphasizes operational skills and frequent conversations. Inheriting Naoe Naganuma's philosophy, we continue to evolve the Naganuma Method in our Japanese language education.
The Naganuma School aims to contribute to the self-fulfillment of each student and nurture future human resources who will bridge Japan and the world, based on the educational philosophy that words create character and character opens up life. We strive every day to help students acquire global communication skills and realize their dreams of opening up their lives through contact with people of various nationalities.
